Born and raised in Saskatchewan (Canada), Terry has a passion to empower adults and young people to make positive choices in their lives.
Using stories from his personal life, Terry’s presentations are customized to touch the heart of his audience through reflections about life and the meaning of the experiences people are going through during the different stages of life.
Using his 24 years of experience as a youth leader in his community, Terry’s presentations are accessible for schools, business, youth groups and faith-based organizations.
Terry’s topics range from a reflection about how our personal choices can have a major impact on the life of people around us to the importance of building positive relationships and standing-up against bullying. During these presentations, Terry asks his audience to consider the possibility to step out of the box and change the way we treat each other, showing that we care by action.
Terry’s presentations also include the story of Jack, a World War 2 Canadian soldier who fought to liberate the Netherlands. Jack’s story asks us to consider that life is not just black and white but has different shades to help us to understand the human experience during difficult times.
